Arizona Spartan Event Weekend
The Arizona Spartan Event Weekend takes place Feb 13 - 14, 2027 at Fort McDowell Rodeo Grounds in Fort McDowell, Arizona. The venue covers a large, warm, dusty and dry area that shapes the race terrain.
The course is described as convoluted, with trails and tracks that twist and turn. Parts of the route pass through towering cactus plants and run through the Yavapai Nation Indian Reservation. The course also climbs to the top of a mesa, offering views from higher ground.
Available race options include:
- Sprint 5 km, 20 obstacles
- Super 10 km, 25 obstacles
- Kids Race 1–3 km with obstacles
- Spectator access
The Sprint lists an average completion time of about 1 hour 32 minutes and 12 seconds. Ticket entry prices are shown from USD 89 for the Sprint, USD 119 for the Super, and USD 29 for the Kids Race. Racing as a team allows participants to lock in the same start time and access shared ticket pricing. A verified service member discount of up to 25 percent is available for eligible US military, emergency responders and government employees via GOVX.
