Arizona Spartan Event Weekend
The Arizona Spartan Event Weekend takes place February 13 and 14, 2027 at the Fort McDowell Rodeo Grounds, 9500 S. Rodeo Drive, Fort McDowell, AZ. The venue is described as warm, dusty, and dry and the course includes twisting trails and tracks that change direction frequently.
Parts of the route pass through areas with towering cactus plants and a section runs through the Yavapai Nation Indian Reservation. The course also ascends to the top of a mesa and provides views from higher ground.
The event program includes multiple race options and spectator access:
- Sprint : 5 km with 20 obstacles; average finish time shown as 1 h 32 m 12 s
- Super : 10 km with 25 obstacles
- Kids Race : 1 to 3 km with obstacles
- Spectator tickets available
Team registration is offered so participants can secure the same start time as teammates and access group pricing. A service member discount of up to 25% is available to qualifying US military, US law enforcement, US firefighters and first responders (including EMT, EMS, paramedics, nurses, hospital doctors), and US government employees through GOVX verification.
