Event overview
The 2026 Arizona Half Marathon is the 5th annual running event at Rio Vista Park, 8866 West Thunderbird Road, Peoria, Arizona. The event offers these race options:

- 5K
- Virtual Run
The course uses the New River Trail System. The trail is open to the public during the event and consists of asphalt and concrete surfaces. The half marathon has a 4 hour cut-off time.
Facilities and logistics
Registration includes a custom finisher medal and a Dri-Fit tech t-shirt, with an option to upgrade to a hoodie or decline swag for a small discount. Male and female age-group awards are given to the top three in each age group for race day participants; age groups begin at 8 & under and go to 80 & over. The event is chip timed with real-time results and photos available online and via a mobile app.
Water stations, restrooms, and GU gels are located at specified mile markers on each course. Strollers and walkers must start at the back; leashed pets are allowed. There is no bag check. The event proceeds rain or shine; there are no refunds or transfers for weather. Packet pick-up is available on the weekend prior at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and on race day at Rio Vista Park. Mail-in registrations are accepted until February 23, 2026.
