Event Overview
The Arizona Half Marathon is a running event featuring several race distances. The 2026 edition marks the fifth annual running of the event. It takes place in Peoria, Arizona.
Location and Course
The event starts and finishes at Rio Vista Park. The course uses the open asphalt and concrete trails of the New River Trail System. The trails remain open for public use during the race.

- 10K Run/Walk (10 km)
- 5K Run/Walk (5 km)
- Virtual Run
The half marathon has a four-hour time limit.
Participant Amenities
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a dri-fit tech t-shirt. An option to upgrade to a hoodie or to decline swag for a discount is available. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each division for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. A pre- and post-race "Runner's Brunch" with snacks and drinks is provided. The event is chip-timed, with results and photos available online. Water stations and restrooms are located along the courses. GU energy gels are provided on the half marathon route.
Race Day Details
The event takes place rain or shine, with no refunds or transfers for weather. Strollers and leashed pets are permitted, but must start at the back. There is no bag check. Registration is available on race day, with higher fees. Payment is accepted via cash or credit card.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at a specified Habit Burger & Grill location in Phoenix. On race day, packet pickup and registration open at the park starting at 6:30 AM.
