Event details
The Arizona Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Rio Vista Park, Peoria, Arizona (8866 West Thunderbird Road). The event is organized by StartLine Racing and offers the following options:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual Run
The course uses the New River Trail System. Surfaces are all asphalt and concrete, and the start and finish are at Rio Vista Park. The trail system remains open to the public during the event.
Logistics and services
The half marathon has a 4 hour cut-off time. Water stations, restrooms, and GU gel locations are provided on the course at specified mile markers for each distance. Packet pick-up is available on Saturday, February 28 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix, and on race day at Rio Vista Park. Race day payment options include cash and credit cards; checks are not accepted. There is no bag check because the start and finish are at the same location.
The virtual run is restricted to U.S. addresses; shirts and medals for virtual participants are shipped after the event and participants receive instructions by email on how to submit times. All participants receive a custom finisher medal and a custom Dri-Fit tech T-shirt. Age group awards are given to the top three in each listed age group.
