Event Details
The Arcola Broom Corn Festival Races take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event is based at Moore Memorial Park in Arcola, Illinois. Participants can choose from three distances:
- A 10K (10,000 meters or 6.2 miles) run
- A 5K (5,000 meters or 3.1 miles) run
- A 5K (5,000 meters or 3.1 miles) walk
Course Information
The 10K course uses brick and hard surfaces, going through and north of Arcola, and finishes in the downtown area. The 5K course is contained entirely within the town.
The event has police escorts, aid stations, and provides split times. For safety, bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and animals (leashed or unleashed) are not allowed on the race course.
