2026 Arc Race
The Arc Race takes place on September 12, 2026 at Long Branch Park in Liverpool, New York. The event includes both in-person and virtual options. Proceeds support the Arc of Onondaga Foundation and its work for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since 2002 the foundation has awarded over $1,000,000 in grants.
Race-day offerings include multiple distance options:
- 5K - 3.1 miles, in-person
- 3K Family Fun Walk - 1.86 miles, in-person
- Kids 1 Mile Fun Run - 1 mile, in-person
- Virtual 5K - 3.1 miles, virtual option
Registration for the in-person events opens April 6, 2026 and closes August 5, 2026. The virtual 5K has a separate closing date on September 12, 2026. Listed registration fees are $45 for the 5K, $25 for the 3K Family Fun Walk, $10 for the Kids 1 Mile Fun Run, and $30 for the Virtual 5K.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 11 at Fleet Feet, 5800 Bridge Street in East Syracuse, with bibs and shirts available during that pickup window. If packet pickup is not used, bibs and shirts will be available on event day in the registration area.
The event also marks the twelfth year of the Athletes in Tandem program, which pairs athletes with disabilities and community runners and walkers to enable participation in competitive sporting events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
