Course and logistics

All distances use the Sonoran Competitive track loop, a 6.5 mile (10.4 km) loop with steep inclines, swooping turns, technical descents, and rugged terrain. Aid stations include a fully stocked start/finish station and a remote North Ridge Aid encountered every loop; stations provide water, ice, electrolyte drinks, snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and some hot food. This is a cupless race; runners should bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site. Drop bags can be stored at a designated start/finish area. Crews are allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for the 52K, beginning on the final loop. Medical staff from MedStar Solutions will be based at the start/finish. Parking is available adjacent to the Competitive Track; the park charges an entry fee per vehicle. Camping is permitted in the Competitive Track parking area with a separate camping permit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
