Sinister Night Runs is a night trail running event at San Tan Mountain Regional Park in Queen Creek, Arizona. It is part of the 2026 Insomniac Night Trail Run Series. Distances offered include:

Course and race details
All distances use a 9 km loop that runs on the San Tan, Hedgehog and Littleleaf Trails. Courses are run counter-clockwise. The 54K covers six loops, the 27K three loops, the 18K two loops, and the 9K and 6K are single laps. The 6K course cuts back on Moonlight to the finish.
The 54K is listed as about 34.3 miles with 3,179 feet of total ascent and a 10-hour time limit. Other events have shorter distances and lower total elevation gains; each distance has an overall time limit. There is one remote aid station (San Tan Aid) on the loop that runners pass each lap. The main aid station is stocked with water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, peanut butter and jelly, bean rollups, and hot food options.
Crews are allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for 54K runners beginning on the fifth loop. Drop bags are available at the start/finish. Courses are marked with orange ribbons with black polka dots, reflective medallions, laminated signs, and blue-and-white checkerboard flagging for wrong-way trails.
