Sinister Night Runs
Sinister Night Runs is a set of night trail races held at San Tan Mountain Regional Park in Queen Creek, Arizona as part of the 2027 Insomniac Series. The event uses a roughly 9 km loop of the San Tan, Hedgehog and Littleleaf trails; all laps run counter-clockwise.

- 54K six loops of a 9 km loop
- 27K three loops of a 9 km loop
- 18K two loops of a 9 km loop
- 9K one 9 km loop
- 6K one shorter loop using Littleleaf and San Tan trails
The course is marked with orange plastic ribbons with black polka dots, reflective medallions, laminated signs at junctions, and blue and white checkerboard flagging for non-race trails. One remote aid station named San Tan Aid is on course for all laps; the main aid station is stocked with water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, peanut butter and jelly, bean rollups, and hot food options. This is a cupless race, so runners should bring a reusable cup or buy one on site.
Crew access is allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for 54K runners beginning on loop five. Parking at the park requires an entry fee per vehicle.
