Event Overview
The Antelope Island Marathon takes place on the largest island in the Great Salt Lake in Syracuse, Utah. The event offers four distinct road running distances, all held within the boundaries of Antelope Island State Park. The island is notable for being home to a resident population of 600 bison.
Course Details
The course terrain is characterized by multiple rolling sections rather than a consistent downhill profile. Runners experience views of the Great Salt Lake located to the east and the Antelope Island mountain range situated to the west. The following distances are available for participants:
- Full Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
In addition to the physical races held on the island, a virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
