Antelope Causeway Event Overview
The Antelope Causeway takes place at the Antelope Island State Park Marina in Syracuse, Utah. This multisport event features various running and cycling distances held on a path across the causeway. The course for the running events is described as the flattest available in the state of Utah.
Available distances and event types include:
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon) running race.
- 6.2 Miles (10K) running race.
- 3.1 Miles (5K) running race.
- 30.2 Miles Olympic Duathlon (24-mile bike and 6.2-mile run).
- 15.1 Miles Sprint Duathlon (12-mile bike and 3.1-mile run).
- 24 Miles and 11 Miles bike-only races.
- Virtual race options for those unable to attend in person.
The duathlon options are designed to start the multisport season by following a bike-first, run-second format, similar to a triathlon but without a swimming segment. Relay options are also available for the duathlon distances, allowing teams of two to three people to split the cycling and running legs. The event is located at 4528 West 1700 South within the state park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
