Annaloughan Loop 10K Trail Run
The Annaloughan Loop is a 10 km trail event on the Cooley Peninsula with a total elevation gain of 240 m. The route mixes runnable trail and natural terrain and includes scenic views throughout. The course is professionally measured and certified and uses chip timing. All finishers receive a finisher’s medal; finish-line refreshments and a photowall are provided.
The event base is McCrystals Track, Jenkinstown, Dundalk, Co. Louth (A91 KD68). On-site parking is available and a bag drop is located beside the start/finish area. Toilets are available at the start/finish area and on the route at approximately 4.75 km. Water cups are provided at 4.75 km and at the finish; participants are asked to use the bins provided. Showers and changing facilities are not provided. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Key participant rules include keeping race numbers visible, obeying stewards and Gardaí, no outside assistance from cars or bikes, and not taking shortcuts. Participants must register and sign the race waiver. There is a strict 3 hour cut-off time for the course. Refunds are not available; name changes are usually permitted until race numbers are allocated. Minimum age for the 10 km distance is 16 years.
