A separate Ostomate Division is provided, with awards for the top three ostomates. Entry for each 5K division has a registration fee of $35.00.
Children’s events include 50-yard dashes in two age categories:
- 5K (Open and Ostomate divisions)
- 50 yards (kids ages 5 and under, and ages 6 to 10)
The event supports the United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds benefit UOAA and donations are described as tax deductible. A volunteer opportunity is listed for October 2. A referral program offers a $20 refund to participants who invite five other registrants; this applies to in-person and virtual participation.
