5k Fun Run at Angry Horse Brewing Co
The event is a community 5k run hosted by the California Brewery Running Series at Angry Horse Brewing in Montebello, CA, with the route starting and ending at the brewery taproom. The distance is 5k and the course is clearly marked.
The run is untimed and held on an open course, so roads will remain open and participants must follow traffic laws. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care. Participants must bring valid ID to receive alcoholic beverages; those under 21 are offered a nonalcoholic beverage instead. The event proceeds rain or shine unless conditions make running unsafe. There is no bag check on site.
Registration includes one craft beer from Angry Horse Brewing Co at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag such as a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item, and access to post-run music, games, prizes and partner giveaways. Ten percent of proceeds from the event support local nonprofits, including East LA Rising, Radiate Motivate and Alma Family Services. The event notes that capacity is limited by the taproom.
