5k Fun Run at Angry Horse Brewing Co, Montebello, CA
This event is a Brewery Running Series 5k fun run that starts and finishes at the Angry Horse Brewing taproom in Montebello, California. Participants may run, walk, or jog a clearly marked approximately 5-kilometer route through the surrounding neighborhood on an open course where roads remain open to traffic.
The event is untimed. Registration includes one craft beer from Angry Horse Brewing Co, a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal series swag, and access to post-run entertainment such as music, games, prizes, and partner offerings. The Brewery Running Series donates a portion of proceeds to local nonprofits; for this event 10% of proceeds support named community partners including East LA Rising, Radiate Motivate, and Alma Family Services.
Event policies note that attendees must bring ID; participants under 21 are offered a nonalcoholic beverage. Dogs and strollers are permitted with care, and there is no bag check. The event proceeds rain or shine unless conditions make the run unsafe. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. The event is organized by the California Brewery Running Series.
