About the race
The TCS Amsterdam Marathon is a prominent international running event held in the capital of the Netherlands. The event features a fast, flat course that holds the World Athletics Platinum Label. The route is known for its historic character, with the start and finish taking place in the iconic Olympic Stadium.
Participants follow a course that highlights various parts of the city, including a passage under the Rijksmuseum, a section through the Vondelpark, and several kilometers along the Amstel river. On Saturday, a specific route for the 7.5 km distance takes runners through Amsterdam-Zuid and the Vondelpark before finishing in the stadium.
