America's Finest City Half Marathon & 5K
The event is the 49th annual America’s Finest City Half Marathon & 5K held in San Diego. The half marathon course begins at the Cabrillo National Monument atop the tip of Point Loma and follows a route along San Diego Bay and Harbor Island, continues along the Embarcadero, passes the Star of India, goes through downtown San Diego, and finishes in historic Balboa Park.
A 5K course runs through the heart of Balboa Park and is described as fast and flat. The event also offers virtual options for both the half marathon and the 5K.
All participants must pick up their bib number and event items at the expo or packet pickup. Entry includes a technical fabric short sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, a reusable grocery bag, a one-day pass to the Carlsbad Columbia Sportswear Employee Store, a finish line food bag, access to a beer garden with complimentary beer, and additional event items.
Event services and race weekend information include an expo and finish line festival, parking and bus information, a course map, an event video, travel and accommodation details, and volunteer opportunities.
