Alzheimer's 5K and Half Marathon : 14th Annual
The event takes place in Dubuque, IA at Heritage Pond Campground / Heritage Trail Pond on Saturday, August 15, 2026. It offers multiple race options on out-and-back courses that use local trails and a bridge near Highway 52. The half marathon follows a longer out-and-back segment west toward Durango and finishes on the same portion used by the 5K. There is no team relay this year. The half marathon has a four hour time limit.

Registration features tiered fees and an event shirt that is guaranteed for earlier registrations. Family registration is available for groups of four to six with a reduced combined fee and per-person pricing for additional family members. Ainsley’s Angels entries are offered for paired or larger groups for the 5K. Packet pick up is available the day before at the Heritage Pond drive up and on race morning for an additional fee.
Awards include trophies for overall winners and top finishers, medals for top three in age divisions in both the 5K and half marathon, and a $10 gift card for any division or overall 5K record.
