Alice Rose Fun Run
The Alice Rose Fun Run is a short charity run held in memory of Alice Rose. The event is a 1 mile community run that raises funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital and for Radio Lollipop, which provides play and entertainment for children in hospital.
Entry is charged at £4.50 with all proceeds donated to the named charities. The event offers personalised goody bags and medals for all finishers, and awards 12 prizes for the top three juniors and top three seniors. Same-day registration is available. A cake stall and refreshments are provided on site. Dogs are not allowed.
The run began in 2011 as a way to remember Alice Rose and to support families who spend extended periods in hospital. Funds raised contribute toward accommodation and facilities for those families and to services that provide play and respite to children in hospital.
