Event overview
This community running event includes a timed 5K run/walk and a Kids 1K fun run. The 5K is held on a fast closed racecourse. The Kids 1K is a non-timed fun run though a race clock is present.

- 3.1 Miles (5K run/walk)
- 0.6 Miles (Kids 1K)
Participants in both events receive a t-shirt and a goodie bag. The 5K uses timing chips and features live music and a "scream tunnel" on the course. Additional on-course and post-race amenities include food, massages, and door prizes. Colored finish-line packets in pink and purple are available for an extra fee.
Prizes and proceeds
Cash prizes are offered for overall finishers: first, second, and third places for male and female categories, plus plaques or medals for the top three in each age group. A bonus prize is offered for beating the course record. Proceeds from the event are donated to childhood cancer research.
Registration and packet pick-up
Registration opens and closes on organizer-set dates and fees apply per event. Registrations increase by $5 on September 5. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after August 31. Race packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at Clyde United Methodist Church, 510 W. Maple St., Clyde, OH. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
