Albury Running Festival
The Albury Running Festival takes place on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Hovell Tree Park in South Albury, on the banks of the Murray River. This is the event's second edition. Participants can choose from several distances:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
The course is fully paved and follows undulating riverside paths. The event village at Hovell Tree Park is not accessible by public transport on Sunday morning; participants are advised to walk, cycle, or drive, with parking available at the park and Noreuil Foreshore Park.
All events are professionally chip-timed. Water stations offering water and Tailwind Nutrition are positioned along the courses. There is a 4-hour cutoff time for the Half Marathon; the other distances have no cutoff. The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at getting young people involved in healthy outdoor activities; an accompanying adult can run with a child for an additional fee but will not be timed or receive a finisher's medal.
Every finisher receives an Albury-themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher's certificate. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks prior; registration must be completed within these timeframes to have a personalized bib or to receive it by post.
