Albury Running Festival
The Albury Running Festival takes place on 4 April 2027 at Hovell Tree Park in South Albury. This is the third edition and it offers multiple race distances for different age groups.
Event distances include:
- Half Marathon - 21.1 km
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Dash
The course runs on fully pathed, undulating terrain along the banks of the Murray River. All distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Water stations on course provide water and Tailwind Nutrition for competitors. There are no cut-off times for the 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km; the Half Marathon has a 3.5 hour cut-off.
Each finisher receives an Albury-themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and an online finisher’s certificate. A photographer will take race photos that are later posted on the event socials. Race organisers note that pedestrians and cyclists use the same paths and advise participants to be aware of others and to avoid earphones.
The event village is reachable by walking, cycling, or car; no public transport is available on a Sunday morning. Parking is available at Hovell Tree Park and Noreuil Foreshore Park. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks out; to have a name on a bib register at least three weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
