About the race
The Ajman Neon Run is a night running event organised by the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman in collaboration with Endurance Sports Services. The event takes place at a jogging track in Ajman on Al Ittihad Street and uses a looped course.
Distances:
- 4.3 km : adults, one lap
- 1.5 km : juniors and stroller category, one lap
The event is open to all age groups and several age-category bands are listed for the 4.3 km and 1.5 km races. Cash prizes are awarded in overall and Emirati categories for the 4.3 km (AED 1,500 / 1,000 / 700 for top three) and for the 1.5 km under-12 and stroller categories (AED 500 / 400 / 300 for top three). Awards include medals for finishers and finalists and electronic certificates. Automated timing is used.
Support and facilities include two water stations on course and at the finish, medical personnel, toilets, changing rooms, showers, spectator areas and parking. Bib collection is available in Sharjah at Endurance Bicycles shop on several days before the race and also at the race venue on race day. Registration opens and closes on specified dates and entry fees include a race T-shirt, timing, refreshments and a certificate; refund and transfer rules apply with an administration fee.
