Ag Days 6k (Spring Valley, MN)
The Ag Days 6k is a road-adjacent trail race covering 6K (about 3.72 miles) that finishes in Willow Park near downtown Spring Valley. The course runs on a paved trail with rolling hills through woods and along farmland. It crosses Spring Valley Creek several times and passes under Highway 16, with no intersections with public roads along the trail.
Runners start near County Road 8 by the camper parking area and follow the trail into the camping area before continuing to Willow Park and the pavilion. There is an aid station along the course and refreshments provided at the finish. A shuttle transports participants between Willow Park and the camper parking area on County Road 8.
Awards include trophies for the overall male and female winners of the 6K and for the top three males and females in age groups. The first 50 registrants receive a custom performance T-shirt. Registration opens July 2 and closes August 3, with advance discounted registration at $25 available through July 30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
