AfriPaw Half Marathon 2026
The AfriPaw Half Marathon is an exclusive charity event limited to 199 runners and walkers. It is organised by AfriPaw Animal Welfare to raise funds for Vrygrond people and their pets. No under 18s are permitted. The event starts at Fish Hoek Beach Sports Club, 3 Peter Creese Way, Fish Hoek, Cape Town.
The course follows a scenic coastal route toward Fisherman's Beach, which is about 1 km past Simon's Town Country Club, and returns to the start. Water stations will be available along the route. Participants who find the full distance too far may enter as a team of two and complete a combined distance of 10.55 km, turning around at the 5.28 km mark; team entries must finish within three hours.

The entry fee is R350 per person or R700 for a team of two. Fees include refreshments at stations, a branded First Ascent race t-shirt, a special race pack, and a breakfast roll with a hot drink after the run. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each category and to fundraisers. Each individual must raise a minimum of R1500 and each team must raise R3000 toward a collective goal of R298 500.
