Advance Labor Day Picnic 5K
The event is a community 5K run or walk held at Westfield Park in Advance, MO. The 5K course is described as flat and fast and is USATF certified for USATF and state records. Participants may run or walk and strollers are welcome.
The course begins and ends in Westfield Park. The route leaves Westfield Park on W. Masters Street, turns left onto Tilly Street, continues three short blocks to a left onto Old C Highway, proceeds to a turnaround point, and returns the same way to Westfield Park. The final half mile runs on the paved running trail inside Westfield Park, which provides a place for spectators to watch participants finish.
Entry for the 5K is $25. Awards are given for overall male and female finishers and for age groups. Registered 5K participants receive event t shirts; shirts will be ordered and delivered after the race.
All registrations are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable. The event will take place rain or shine, though organizers reserve the right to cancel in extreme conditions; there will be no refunds if the event is canceled.
