Acronyms Tamar 10k
Acronyms Tamar 10k is a 10 km road race in Plymouth that crosses the Tamar Bridge. The event is scheduled for Sunday 18th October 2026 and is organised by Taurus Events trading as Run Plymouth. The field is limited to 1,000 participants. The minimum age for entry is 15 years.
The race starts at Marine Academy Plymouth and finishes at Kawasaki, with an event village located at Kawasaki Precision Machinery. All finishers receive a high quality medal and a technical finishers t-shirt.
Individual prize categories include first, second and third male and female, veteran category prizes for VO40 through VO75 for both men and women, and a first junior male and female in the under 20 age group. Individual winners receive free entry to the next year's Acronyms Tamar 10k. Team prizes are decided by the cumulative finish positions of the first three scoring athletes, and the winning team will have £150 donated to a charity of their choice.
