Acorn Sandhead 10

The Acorn Sandhead 10 is a scenic ten-mile multi-terrain race held in Stranraer, Scotland, starting from Sandhead along the stunning Luce Bay. The course follows the Mull of Galloway Trail, a designated Scotland’s Great Trail, featuring coastal paths, dunes, quiet back roads, farm fields, and woodland descents, finishing with beautiful views across Loch Ryan. The route is well-marked and marshalled, with water stations and refreshments provided.

Participants receive a goody bag, an eco-medal, and podium prizes. The event supports the Better Lives Partnership Stranraer charity and honors the memory of local runner Tony Cooke.
