The Reindeer Run in Riverside on Sunday, December 21, 2025 offers four distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- 15k
- Half marathon
The event takes place at Ryan Bonaminio Park, 5000 Tequesquite Ave., Riverside, CA. Start and finish will be toward the far end of the park. Parking is free in the park lot and on Tequesquite Ave.
Course and facilities
The course is an open, shared-path route with marked out-and-back loops. The 10k is two 5k loops, the 15k is three 5k loops, and the half marathon is three 4.36-mile loops. There is one park restroom 200-300 m (about a 5 minute walk) from the start/finish area; this is the only restroom on the course. An aid station at the turnaround/start-finish location provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels.
Registration and policies
Registration is available via PayPal or Active.com. PayPal registrants receive a confirmation email within 12 hours. Pricing examples: early bird (one month before) - 5k $23.99, 10k $28.99, 15k $32.99, half marathon $38.99; race-month and race-day fees are higher. Race-day payment options listed include cash, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. Participants may not run with dogs; strollers are allowed. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit. Transfers, group discounts for five or more, and volunteer entry arrangements are handled by the event organizer. No refunds. Included with registration are custom finisher medals, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, posted results within 12-24 hours, and assorted snacks.
