Event
The Game Day running event takes place on February 8, 2026 at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area in Los Angeles, CA (Sun Valley Picnic Area). The organizer is A Better World Running (ABWR). The event offers multiple race distances and includes the following with registration: custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, results posted on the organizer website within 12–24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. The event has a no-refund policy. Volunteer service can be exchanged for a free race entry. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit and an early start may be available on request.

Course and logistics
The course is an open, marked route using out-and-back loops on the park trail. Surfaces include dirt, some grass, and pavement. The route includes a steep hill of about 0.25 miles. Aid is provided at the turnaround/start-finish area and includes water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Parking at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is noted as $10 per vehicle.
