Abbot Kinney One
The Abbot Kinney One is a one-mile race located in Venice, California. Produced by the Venice Run Club, this event is USATF-certified and takes place on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The race enters its third year in 2026, offering a variety of staggered heats to accommodate different participant groups and age categories.
Participants can choose from several specific mile events:
- 1 Mile Men's and Women's Open
- 1 Mile Men's and Women's Masters (ages 40 and older)
- 1 Mile Men's and Women's Elite (by invitation or time submission)
- 1 Mile Youth (ages 6-11)
- 1 Mile Jr. High and High School
- 1 Mile Friends and Family (noncompetitive walk, jog, or stroller)
- 1 Mile First Responders (PD, FD, EMT, Paramedics, Military)
- 1 Mile Dog Mile
All registered participants receive an official race bib, chip-timed results, and free race photos. Packet pick-up is organized prior to race day at the On LA Store Cabana on Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The event features both competitive heats for experienced runners and noncompetitive options for families and those walking with strollers.
