Abbeyleix House & Farm 10K Run
The event is a 10 km cross country run set within the grounds of Abbeyleix House and Farm and scheduled alongside the venue's annual Family Day. The route passes through surviving areas of ancient woodland and includes rough terrain, so appropriate trail running footwear is recommended.
The organiser states that 100% of the registration fee is donated to selected charities. The first 275 registrants will receive a T-shirt. Run registration does not include entry to the Family Day.
Logistics noted by the organiser include a bag drop located at the start area with a warning to avoid placing valuables or delicate items there. Parking is located about a 10 minute walk from the registration area. The course is not suitable for buggies and dogs are not permitted on the course.
Ticketing information published by the organiser shows adult and under 16 entry options with separate prices.
