Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club 5k, 10k and Half Marathon 2026
Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club is organising the first edition of a road race event in Abbeyknockmoy, Co. Galway on 12 July 2026. The event includes three measured road race distances and is permitted under cert. no: 26/183.

The 5k route follows the Galway 5k Race Series course. New routes have been created for the 10k and the half marathon. All races will feature chip timing and accurately measured courses. The event and its routes are Athletics Ireland accredited and certified.
Prizes will be awarded across all distances. Participants will receive a medal and post-race refreshments on the day. Race maps are provided for illustration; the routes have been accurately measured and certified. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
