Abbeyknockmoy Road Races
The Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club organizes this running event in Abbeyknockmoy, Co. Galway. This inaugural edition features three road race distances on accurately measured routes:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
The 5 km distance follows the established route from the Galway 5k Race Series, while the 10 km and Half Marathon use new courses. All participants receive chip timing for their results, and the event is Athletics Ireland accredited.
Participants receive a medal upon completion of their chosen distance. The event includes prize awards across all three distances. Following the races, refreshments are provided for the runners at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
