The Aalener City Run is an annual running competition in Aalen that offers various running categories for different age groups and fitness levels. These include the Bambini Run, Student Run, Health Run, Team Run, as well as the Youth and Main Run. The event takes place on a circuit through the city, with the start and finish at Sparkassenplatz.
In addition to the runs, there are refreshment stands and a street food festival. A special highlight is the Aalener City Championship, where the fastest runners from Aalen are crowned.
