Aalborg Marathon 2027
Aalborg Marathon 2027 is an event at Skansen Idrætscenter in Nørresundby with multiple running and walking distances that use routes along the Limfjord. All races start and finish at the event area by Skansen Idrætscenter. The course includes crossings of Kulturbroen and Limfjordsbroen and sections along the waterfront in Aalborg.
Facilities at the event area include a depot with drinks and fruit, pop-up shops, food stalls, areas for resting, music for spectators, changing rooms, showers, toilets, and supervised bag storage. All finishers receive a medal and a goodiebag. Participants can purchase an event t-shirt; the purchase deadline is 9 July 2027. Packet pickup is available at Løberen in Aalborg from 11 to 13 August and at the event area on race day.
Pace teams are present for the half marathon and marathon distances and are identifiable by back flags showing target finish times. The marathon route is two laps of the half marathon route. Because the bridges open for vessel traffic, there is a strict cut-off that requires reaching 35 km within the specified race time window; the overall event time limit is six hours. The event is organized by Aalborg Firmaidræt.
