A Run for the Books 5K & 1 Mile

The event is centered at the Kingsville Public Library, 6006 Academy Street, Kingsville, OH 44048. The 5K run follows a course through the Kingsville Township area. The 1 Mile walk is untimed.
Registration opens January 15, 2026 and closes July 17, 2026. Online and US mail registrations received by July 17 have a fee of $30. Day of event registration is $35. All event proceeds are designated for Friends of the Kingsville Library.
Shirts are provided to the first 100 registered participants. Kona Ice is available on site for event participants. Dogs are not allowed; service animals are permitted.
The 5K awards a $100 cash prize to the top male and to the top female overall finisher, courtesy of AM Ford of Ashtabula County. Unique age group awards are presented to the top three finishers in each of these groups: 14 and younger; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70 and older.
