Event Details

The A Run for the Books 5K & 1 Mile takes place in Kingsville, Ohio. The event offers two distances: a 5K run and a 1 Mile Walk. The 5K course starts at the Kingsville Public Library on Academy Street and goes through the Kingsville Township area. The 1 Mile Walk is an untimed event.

Registration is $30 for entries received online or by US mail until July 17. Registration on the day of the event costs $35. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Kingsville Library. The first 100 registered participants receive a shirt.

All event participants receive free Kona Ice on site. Dogs are not permitted, with the exception of service animals. Awards are given for the 5K only, recognizing the top male and female overall finishers and the top three in each of numerous age group categories.
