41st Edition of the 7Oaks Triathlon
The 7Oaks Triathlon returns for its 41st year, organized by the 7Oaks Tri Club. This event takes place in Sevenoaks, Kent, and is supported by local marshals and businesses. The event is a part of the Triathlon England South East Club Senior Series, serving as an inter-club championship race.
Participants can choose from three distinct multisport formats:
- Triathlon: Includes a 400m swim (16 lengths of a 25m pool) at Sevenoaks Leisure Centre, an undulating 25km bike course, and a 5km run through Knole Park.
- Aquabike: Consists of a 400m pool swim followed by the undulating 25km bike course.
- Duathlon: Features an initial 5km run in Knole Park, followed by the 25km bike course, and a final 3.3km run.
The cycling portion for all events uses an undulating route through the local area, while the running sections are held within the grounds of Knole Park. The swim legs are conducted in a 25m indoor pool.
The event provides digital resources for competitors, including a video race briefing and historical results. It is affiliated with British Triathlon, British Cycling, and Cycling Time Trials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
