7Oaks Triathlon / Sevenoaks Triathlon
The event is organised by members of 7oakstri club and celebrated its 41st anniversary in 2026. It takes place at Sevenoaks Leisure Centre in Sevenoaks, Kent, and is listed for the South East region with an expected field of about 350 competitors. A permit is in progress.
There are multiple race options, including:
- 7 Oaks Aquabike: Swim 400 m, Bike 25 km
- 7 Oaks Duathlon: Run 5 km, Bike 25 km, Run 3.3 km
- 7 Oaks Triathlon: Swim 400 m, Bike 25 km, Run 5 km
The swim uses the leisure centre pool and is 16 lengths of a 25 m pool. The pool has an entry and exit hoist. The bike course is a 25 km undulating route on tarmac through Kent countryside. The main triathlon run is a 5 km, undulating route on mixed surfaces that runs through Knole park past Knole house and through areas with deer, oak and chestnut trees; the run course is traffic free and has aid stations. Transition areas are short (about 20 m) and include steps and an ascent.
