7MC Trail Race
7MC is a trail running event hosted by River Valley Running at Seven Mile Creek County Park in St Peter, Minnesota on August 1, 2026. The event takes place on natural-surface trails and offers multiple distances.
Course features include several significant climbs, technical sections on some climbs, and a possible water crossing on the longest route. Trail shoes are recommended for the 7k and the 7 mile courses. Spectators may bring blankets and camping chairs for on-site viewing.
Distances
- 0.7k run - short, free fun run for kids and adults.
- 7k run - two big climbs, one technical section, registration fee applies.
- 7 mile run - three big climbs, two technical sections, possible water crossing, registration fee applies.
Registration details include a race t-shirt for registrants; registering by July 10 guarantees a selected shirt size and shirts cannot be exchanged. New for 2026, chip timing is used. The event enforces a cutoff for all races, and the organizer applies a no refund, no transfer, no switch policy. Volunteer opportunities are available with a time commitment from early morning to early afternoon. All details are subject to change.
