7-Lakes Trail Run (3.5 Mile & 7 Mile)
The event takes place on August 15, 2026, at Seven Lakes State Park in Holly, MI. It offers in-person trail races and a virtual option, with the in-person courses starting and finishing at the 7-Lakes Beach and following park trails around multiple lakes.

- 3.5 miles
- 7 miles (two laps of the 3.5-mile course)
- Virtual 5K
The trail passes through mature hardwood forest and along lake shorelines, with rolling terrain that includes both flat sections and moderate elevation changes. Trail widths vary and the surface has natural obstacles such as tree roots and uneven sections. The course is marked with signs, cones, and field paint to indicate key turns and hazards.
In-person entries are chip timed with live results; the 7-mile entry records a 3.5-mile split time. Registration for in-person races includes a custom dri-fit participant shirt, a custom finisher medal, overall and age-group awards, free race photos, and post-race refreshments. Virtual registration includes a custom race bib, an optional dri-fit shirt, a custom finisher medal, and shipping. Virtual race packets will be shipped during race week depending on arrival of shirts and medals, and virtual results will not be posted to the in-person results.
