7-Lakes Trail Run
The 7-Lakes Trail Run is an off-road running event held at Seven Lakes State Park in Holly, Michigan. The course starts and finishes at the 7-Lakes Beach area, taking participants through a landscape or mature hardwood forests and offering views of multiple lakes.
The terrain consists of a mix of flat sections and rolling hills with moderate elevation changes. Running surfaces vary in width from wide paths to narrow single track trails. Participants can expect natural obstacles typical of a woodland environment, including tree roots and uneven ground. The route is marked using a combination of signs, cones, and field paint to indicate turns and identify natural hazards.

Registration includes a chip-timed result, a custom dri-fit participant shirt, and a finisher medal. Participants also receive access to free race photos and post-race refreshments. Overall and age group awards are presented following the event. Packet pick-up is available on-site at the state park on the morning of the race. Proceeds from the event support the Trecho Fitness Foundation, which provides fitness programming for underserved youth and individuals overcoming trauma.
