About the race
The event on 21 February 2027 is an indoor 5 km run held on the La Cité campus in Ottawa, at 801 Aviation Pkwy, Ottawa, ON K1K 4B2. The course is fully indoor so participants can run in shorts and a T-shirt even in winter. A souvenir medal option is available at checkout.
The event is open to walkers and runners. The format invites participation in a friendly, festive atmosphere for individuals, families, groups, and workplace teams. Team discounts apply: 10% off for purchases of 5 to 9 tickets and 15% off for 10 or more tickets. Current ticket price is $43 and purchasers can earn up to 4 points.
Race logistics include bib pick-up on the morning of the event; bib transfers are allowed for free during the pick-up period with proof of payment. Online registration closes on the Thursday before the event. A platform fee of $2.95 plus 3% of the transaction and applicable taxes will be added to orders. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal; bank transfer is accepted only during number collection.
Onsite facilities and services: no locker rooms are available, parking is offered at 90 Université (LOT K), and restrooms are located inside near the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Educational Services Research Center. SportStats handles timing and results are classified by age categories. A water station will be at the finish line; participants are encouraged to bring a refillable bottle as no single-use bottles will be provided at the finish. A finisher’s prize is given at the line and event photographers will publish an album after the race.
