About the race
The event is an indoor 5 km run inside the La Cité campus in Ottawa on 21 February 2027. The course runs entirely indoors at the address 801 Aviation Pkwy, Ottawa, ON K1K 4B2. The organizer presents the format as open to everyone, allowing participants to walk or run in a communal, festive atmosphere.
Race logistics include bib pick-up on the morning of the event and a free bib transfer during the pick-up period with proof of payment. Online registration closes the Thursday before the event. A platform fee of $2.95 plus 3% of the transaction, plus GST and QST, is added to orders. Payment options for online ticketing include Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal; bank transfer is accepted only during number collection.
At the finish line, participants receive a finisher’s prize that may vary by season. There will be a water station at the finish line and participants are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle, as no bottled water will be given at the finish. No locker rooms are available; parking is available on campus at Lot K. Restrooms are located inside near the starting area in the Faculty of Social Sciences and in the Educational Services Research Center building. Timing is provided by SportStats and results are classified by age category. Team discounts apply: 10% for 5 to 9 tickets, 15% for 10 or more.
