5K Walk-Run-Race for Our Abuelos
The event is a community 5 kilometer walk and run held in Hebbronville, Texas, at Mi Familia Health Insurance, 210 E. Galbraith St. The distance for the event is 5 km and there are separate running and walking entry categories. Entry fee is $35 for both walking and running; online registrants receive a $10 discount sponsored by Zapata Roadrunners, refunded in person at the event.
Awards include medals for the top three men and top three women in each age category and trophies for the overall male and female winners. Age categories for both men and women are 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and over.
Packet pickup and same-day registration are available on the day of the event. Shirts are guaranteed only for early registrants and preferred sizes are limited. A course map is provided for the 5 km route.
