5K Run/Walk/Roll for Brain Injury Awareness
The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey stages an annual regional series titled the 5K Run/Walk/Roll for Brain Injury Awareness. The 2026 fall schedule lists three events by region and date: Paramus on Saturday, September 26; Mt. Laurel on Saturday, October 3; and Bradley Beach on Saturday, October 10, where a timed 5K option is available.
The events bring together survivors, caregivers, families, and supporters across New Jersey to raise awareness, build community connections, and fund programs and services provided by the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey. The 2025 series involved more than 1,000 participants and raised over $100,000 to support the organization’s services.
Sponsorship opportunities include visibility through web, social media, and print promotions, logo placement on more than 1,000 participant shirts, exhibit space at the events, and on-site recognition. Volunteer roles are available through a Walk Committee and include event promotion and on-site assistance. The organizing nonprofit’s mission is to improve the quality of life for anyone impacted by brain injury by providing support, advocacy, information, and prevention efforts.
