Event format
5K FEST is a 24-hour event in which a new 5K run starts every hour for 24 consecutive hours. Runners may enter as solo participants or as part of a team. The objective is to complete as many 5K segments as the participant or team chooses during the 24-hour period. Participants may run a single 5K, skip some hours, or attempt many repeats. Each finisher or team receives a custom branded wood plank showing how many 5K segments they completed. Early registrants receive a race T-shirt.

The event takes place at the 18-acre Kearin Family Farm in Bonney Lake, WA, with parts of the course on the farm and parts on the adjacent Fennel Creek Trail. Terrain includes pasture, rocky soil, and paved trail. There is space for tents and RVs for overnight camping on site.
