5K FEST
This is a 24 hour running event in which a new 5K starts every hour. Solo runners and teams may participate. The objective is to see how many 5K laps an individual or a team can complete during the 24 hour period. Participants may run any number of the hourly 5Ks and may skip hours between runs.
The event takes place on the 18 acre Kearin Family Farm in Bonney Lake, WA. The course uses sections of the farm and the adjacent Fennel Creek Trail. Terrain includes pasture, rocky soil and sections of paved trail. There is space for tents and RVs for those who wish to camp on site.
On site amenities described for participants include porta potties, water, electrolytes, and food and snacks provided at no additional charge. Music and games are part of the event atmosphere. Runners who register early enough will receive a race T shirt; late registrants may be limited by available sizes. Every runner or team will receive a custom branded wood plank that records the number of 5Ks completed during the event.
