5K FEST
5K FEST is a 24 hour event in which a new 5K is started each hour. Participants may enter as solo runners or as part of a team. The objective is to see how many 5K loops a participant or team can complete during the 24 hour period. Runners may skip any number of hourly events and may run as few or as many 5K's as they wish.
The event takes place on an 18 acre property identified as Kearin Family Farm in Bonney Lake, WA. The course uses portions of the farm and the adjacent Fennel Creek Trail. Terrain includes pasture, rocky soil and sections of paved trail. There is space for tents and RVs for those who wish to camp on site.
On-site amenities listed for participants include porta potties, water, electrolyte drinks and a variety of food and snacks. The event schedule also includes music, games and other social elements. Each runner will receive a custom wood plank that is branded on site with the number of 5K's completed. Early registrants are eligible for a race T-shirt.
