Event format

5K Fest is a 24-hour event in which a new 5K starts every hour. Entrants may register as solo runners or as part of a team. Each hour provides an opportunity to run a separate 5K; participants may run as few or as many of the hourly 5Ks as they wish. The cumulative number of completed 5Ks for an individual or team is tracked for the 24-hour period.

Location and logistics

The event takes place on the 18-acre Kearin Family Farm in Bonney Lake, WA, with some of the course on the farm and some on the adjacent Fennel Creek Trail. Terrain includes pasture, rocky soil and paved trail. There is space for tents and RVs for overnight camping. Pets are not allowed. Facilities and services include porta potties, water, electrolytes, food and snacks, music and games. Early registrants will receive a race T-shirt; every registrant receives a custom wood plank that is branded with the number of 5Ks completed. The listed entry fee is $150.
