5K Colour Fun Run 2026 : Ballybunion
Ballybunion Running Club is hosting a 5K colour fun run on Saturday 15 August 2026. The event raises funds for Scoil Iosagain Ballybunion and Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue. Both the adult and children’s races start at the Sea Rescue on the Ladies Beach.
Participants may run, jog, walk or skip along the organised 5K route. The event is open to athletes, first-time runners and families. A separate 1K fun run is organised for children under 12.

- 1K kids fun run for children under 12
Registration is compulsory. Ticket prices are listed as Adults €25, U18 €15, U12 €10, and a Family rate €60. T-shirts and medals are provided to participants. The organiser notes that specific t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed on the day.
