5K at the Farm
Hosted by Hillsdale Emergency Services, this event is a fundraiser for Special Olympics New Jersey held at Demarest Farms, 244 Wierimus Road, Hillsdale, NJ on June 7, 2026. The main event is a 3.1-mile run/walk that leaves pavement and uses a course through apple orchards on the farm.
The day includes live music from a local rock band and sound along the course. A post-race celebration will feature food, a biergarten, and family activities such as a petting zoo and a children’s play area. At check-in, participants receive a race bib or tracker and a race shirt; registrations received by May 18, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt.
Registration opens March 31, 2026 and continues through June 7, 2026. Fees listed for the event are $40.00 for adults and $15.00 for youth 16 and under. Proceeds from the event go to Special Olympics New Jersey to support year-round sports training and competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
