5K Apple Run - Paintsville
The event is a community 5K run and walk held in downtown Paintsville, Kentucky, as part of the Kentucky Apple Festival. The downtown course is described as mostly flat.
Two registration options are offered: a 5K Run/Walk and a T-Shirt Only (Sleep-In) option. The registration fee for each option is $25. Proceeds from the event benefit the Main Street Players, Paintsville's community theatre, which performs at the historic Sipp Theatre since 2012.
After the run, the Apple Festival offers food from local vendors, crafts, music, carnival rides, and a parade. T-shirt pickups for the Sleep-In option are available at the start/finish line or at the information booth on Main Street during the festival.
