5K AIDS & Cancer Run/Walk 2027
The event is a community 5K run/walk in Baldwin, New York scheduled for May 30, 2027. The event offers both on-site participation and an option for virtual participants who can upload times and photos during the event window.

Amenities for participants include an event t-shirt (names printed on the back if registered by May 13), free finish-line photos, live/text/email results, raffle prizes, and personalized bibs for entries made three weeks in advance. Food and beverage offerings listed for past events include coffee, fruit, sandwiches, pastries, and vouchers from local vendors. All finishers receive a medal.
Awards include trophies for top three overall male and female finishers and top three masters 40+, medals for age-group placings across standard age bands, and gift certificates for top finishers. Team-related awards include raffle prizes for team captains, gift certificates for qualifying teams, and donations to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations based on team fundraising totals.
Bib pickup is available in person beginning one hour before the event and virtual bibs are mailed the Monday before the start date when applicable. Proceeds, toys, clothing, and food benefit people living with HIV and cancer and several local organizations that serve those communities.
