500 Festival Running Event

Event Information
The 500 Festival KidsFit Final 5K is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, in downtown Indianapolis. The event is specifically for participants in the KidsFit Program who are in grades 4 through 6.
It is part of the larger Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K, with a dedicated wave for these youth runners. It takes place on the same morning as the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. Participants finish at the same line as the Mini-Marathon runners, with grandstands for spectators.
Registration is available for two categories:
- Youth KidsFit 5K Registration
- Adult KidsFit 5K Registration
Participation Details
Schools or groups must be registered for the 2026 KidsFit Program to be eligible for this 5K event. Participants receive a discounted entry fee, an event shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race snacks and refreshments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
