Event Overview
The 500 Festival Running Events take place in Indianapolis, featuring a variety of distances held in conjunction with the lead-up to the Indianapolis 500. The flagship event is a flat and fast half-marathon that passes through downtown Indy and includes a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Participants can choose from several individual distances or take part in multi-race challenges. The event also hosts the USATF 5 km Championships and provides specific fields for elite runners as well as adaptive athletes with disabilities.

The weekend includes a health and fitness expo with packet pick-up, course entertainment such as spirit squads, and a post-race party.
