500 Festival KidsFit Final 5K
The KidsFit Final 5K is scheduled for May 2, 2026 in Downtown Indianapolis. Program participants in grades 4 through 6 complete their final 3.1 miles (5K) in a dedicated wave of the Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K. The event takes place the morning of the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, and KidsFit finishers use the same finish line as Mini-Marathon participants, with grandstands for fans and families nearby.
Registered groups receive a discounted entry, a shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race snacks and goodies. Schools or groups must be registered for the 2026 KidsFit Program to be eligible for the KidsFit Final 5K. Registration for two categories is provided: a youth registration with no fee and an adult registration with a fee of $20. Registration opens January 12, 2026 and closes April 6, 2026.
