500 Festival KidsFit Final 5K
The 500 Festival KidsFit Final 5K is a running event taking place in downtown Indianapolis. This race serves as the concluding 3.1 miles for students in grades 4 through 6 who are participants in the KidsFit program. The event is scheduled for the same morning as the IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and utilizes the same finish line, where grandstands are set up for spectators and families.

To be eligible for the KidsFit Final 5K, schools or groups must be registered for the 2026 KidsFit Program. Youth participants in this specific wave receive a shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race snacks. Registration for the youth category is offered at a discounted rate compared to the adult registration.
