11th Annual 4th of July 5K : Plymouth, July 4, 2026
The event is a 5-kilometer road race in Plymouth held on July 4, 2026. Registration is online only; there is no paper registration at pre-race pickup or on race day. Pricing is tiered by age and by registration date: adult (18+) and student (11-17) and child (10 and under) and senior (70+) categories have specified fees that increase closer to the event. A no-shirt option is available for a $10 reduction until the shirt deadline of June 14.
Packet pickup occurs on July 2 and July 3 at Marathon Sports, 9 Court Street, Plymouth, and on July 4 at DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park on Water Street. The course enforces a 60 minute time limit; the finish line will close once that limit is reached.
Awards are given to overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers and to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in age groups 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+. No dogs are allowed on the course; service animals may be permitted with prior arrangement.
Event proceeds help July 4 Plymouth, Inc with expenses for the town parade and fireworks.
