4 On The Fourth - Mission
This event takes place on July 4, 2026, at Mission Hike & Bike Trails in Mission, Texas. It is presented as the inaugural Four On The Fourth and offers in-person and virtual participation options for the 4 mile distance plus a community fun run/walk.
Distances offered:
- 4 Miles with and without T-shirt
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 4 Miles Virtual with T-shirt
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Valley Running in McAllen. There is a shirt deadline of June 19; shirts after that date are available at packet pickup on a first come, first served basis.
The 4 mile race uses chip timing with live results. All participants receive finisher medals and a race shirt. The event includes DJ music, free race photos, a start/finish inflatable arch, a patriotic and palm tree photo area, and local vendor booths.
Awards are provided for the 4 mile race, including top male and female overall and age group awards in these divisions: 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
