1 Mill Street Regency 10k
The Regency 10k is organised by volunteers from the Leamington Round Table and supported by local groups including Spa Striders. Founded in 2004, the event now attracts around 2,500 runners each year and has raised over £500,000 for local good causes. Proceeds support groups and projects such as services for people who are homeless, community youth groups and school projects.
The event is scheduled for 12 April 2026 and starts at Newbold Terrace East in Royal Leamington Spa with the finish area at Mill Gardens next to Jephson Gardens. Race entries use professional chip timing; race numbers and timing chips are posted about two weeks before the event, while later entrants collect their racepack on the morning of the event.
The course is a 10 km mixed terrain route that passes Newbold Comyn, Victoria Park and Jephson Gardens. Surfaces include paved sections and bridleways. Road sections on the course are closed to traffic for the race.
Facilities and rules mentioned include baggage storage at the finish with a numbered tag, temporary toilets near the start, first aid cover by paramedics and nurses, and official photographs for purchase. Medals are provided for all finishers. UK Athletics rules apply to headphones and other equipment; bone conduction headphones are allowed and medically prescribed in-ear hearing aids should be declared. Buggies are not permitted and privately owned dogs are not allowed in the race except registered assistance dogs approved by the organisers. Prizes are awarded for top finishers and team categories.
