1 Mill Street Regency 10k
The Regency 10k is a community running event on 12 April 2026 in Royal Leamington Spa, organised by volunteers from the Leamington Round Table and supported by local groups including Spa Striders. The event raises money for local good causes and has attracted around 2,500 runners in recent years, with over £500,000 raised to date.
Distances
- 10 km multi terrain course through parks and gardens.
- 1 km kids run.
The course starts at Newbold Terrace East and finishes at Mill Gardens next to Jephson Gardens, passing Newbold Comyn and Victoria Park. Surfaces include paved sections and bridleways, and road sections are closed to traffic for the race. A professional timing company provides chip timing; runners must wear their timing chip to record a time. Race numbers and chips are posted two weeks before the event for those who register by 28 March; others collect racepacks on the morning at the registration tent. All finishers receive a medal. Baggage storage is available at the finish when the numbered strip from the race number is attached to the bag. Temporary toilets are adjacent to the start and first aid crews are in attendance.
Event rules note that in ear or over ear headphones are not allowed, bone conducting headphones are permitted, medically prescribed in ear hearing aids should be declared, dogs are not permitted in the race except approved assistance dogs, and buggies are not allowed.
