About the race
The Dyslexia Dash is a fundraising 5K event on 10/25/2026 at 4730 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027. The event is held for Dyslexia Awareness Month in October and aims to raise funds for educational programs, workshops, and resources that support individuals with dyslexia.
Two participation formats are offered:
- 5K in-person loop around the golf course
- 5K virtual option
The in-person course is one loop on a dirt-packed, flat trail around the golf course. Participants may run or walk the loop. All in-person participants will receive a race bib. Water and snacks will be provided, and public bathrooms are available nearby.
Registration details are provided for each format: registration opens 7/1/2026; the in-person registration closes 10/18/2026 with a fee of $33.00, and the virtual registration closes 10/26/2026 with a fee of $20.00.
There is free parking at Merry Go Round Lot 3. A playground and IDALA tables will be present near the event area. Dogs are allowed in Griffith Park but must be on a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
