Run Rome the Marathon is a major international sporting event held in the Italian capital. Scheduled for March 14, 2027, the event offers participants the opportunity to run through a route featuring historical monuments and iconic landmarks. The course starts at the Fori Imperiali, passes by the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, the Vittoriano, and Circus Maximus. Runners also pass Castel Sant’Angelo and the Basilica of St. Peter.

- 5 km Fun Run: A non-competitive event starting at the Fori Imperiali and finishing at Circus Maximus.
The Expo Village serves as the central hub for the event, located 50 meters from the Circo Massimo Metro B station. It is open for several days leading up to the race for visitors and participants.
