Event overview
The Winter Bumble Bimble Trail Run is a social trail run organised by local trail running enthusiasts. The 2025 winter event takes place on Sunday 30 November 2025 and starts and finishes at the Park Gate Inn, 178 Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove B61 9AJ. The pub offers refreshments after the run.

- 11 mile - summer option
Course, facilities and rules
The winter 5 mile route goes across Dodford countryside, into a woodland valley and Nutnells Wood, along quiet Dodford lanes, across fields, over Fockbury Road and back to the Park Gate Inn. The route is marked with arrows and supported by volunteer marshals. The terrain is mostly trails with stiles, kissing gates, mud, long grass and undulating ground; organisers state it requires at least about 20% more effort or time than running on the road. Trail shoes are usually recommended depending on weather.
Parking at the venue is free but very limited; options include a small pub car park, grass verges and a layby nearby, or parking in Sanders Park (about 1.9 km away). Bags may be left in the event tent but organisers are not responsible for valuables. A water station is provided at approx 2.5. Runners on the 5 mile route must be 11 years or over and accompanied by an adult. One dog per runner is allowed on a lead, kept away from livestock. First aid will be onsite. All finishers receive a medal and an official time; results are published within 24 hours. Transfers are possible via Entry Central; no refunds or deferrals.
