About the race
Sonning Glow Run, hosted by Berkshire County Sports Club, is a family-friendly evening event in Sonning, Berkshire. The programme offers two distances: a 1.5km Kids Fun Run inside the club grounds and a 5km run that starts and finishes at the club and follows the River Thames towpath. Participants enjoy a torch-lit course with a glowing atmosphere, glow sticks, and medals for all entrants, plus a post-race BBQ.
All runners must wear a functioning head or chest torch. The event emphasizes fun and light-up participant prizes rather than timing or results.
